Brent Bilodeau, Ph.D.

As the Director of Michigan State University's Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, Transgender Resource Center, Brent collaborates across the institution to create an affirming climate for LBGT students in areas related to university policy, campus-wide LBGT education, student leadership development and advocacy. As a scholar, his research interests include transgender student identities and genderism; LBGT student leadership and identity development; and multiple oppression across race/ethnicity, class, gender identity, nationality, disability and sexual orientation. Dee's areas of interest include domestic and sexual violence, sexuality and sexual health, adolescence, and education reform. She is in the process of completing a master's degree in Career and Technical Education. Dee is thrilled to be working with the students here at Michigan State University.

Office hours: Dee does a lot of work in evenings and on weekends, so she is not in on Monday mornings.

Lisa has worked and taught in several MSU units since 1985. She has a BA in philosophy and an MS in computer science (minors in psychology), has taught computer science and stage makeup, can type 55 words per minute and is bold by design. Lisa takes care of office matters, the LBGTRC computers and website. Long ago she helped start and facilitate the first trans support group at MSU. Off campus Lisa is a cartoonist, writer, photographer and is President of All-of-us Express Children's Theatre. She reads French and is studying Japanese. Out of phase tomboy web comic

Danielle Masuda

Dani is a first year student in the Student Affairs Administration Masters Program. Her hometown is Hilo, Hawaii. She began her undergraduate work at the University of Washington, finished at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon (B.A. in Rhetoric and Media Studies) then worked one year as Residence Life Coordinator at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. Dani is passionate about social justice/diversity education. She strives to work with under-represented student populations to help them successfully transition in and out of their higher education experiences.

Michelle is a senior majoring in psychology. She is a student leader in both the Alliance of LBGT Students and SGL-SOCIAL. Michelle is working in the Center for her second year.

Michelle works in the Center at various times during the week.
