Undergraduate and graduate students who are not employed by MSU have no
domestic partner benefits of any kind. That includes 'spouse' ID cards and
access to facilities. Sorry!
In April 2007 the MSU Board of Trustees voted unanimously to add
gender identity as a
protected category in the University's Anti-Discrimination Policy (ADP). The change
followed the work done by the Second Ad Hoc Gender Identity Committee, which released its
full
report during spring term 2007.
